At NVIS the school uniform is a symbol of pride in the school, and the way students appear is a message to the whole community of the school standards. Students are expected to dress in the assigned school uniform. All students must come to school looking neat, clean and presentable. This includes appropriate hair grooming and personal hygiene. Students who do not maintain the standards of dress in school will face consequences which may include being sent home for if they are not dressed appropriately.
The school uniform must be worn at all times in school, on school trips and during exams UNLESS INFORMED BY THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT OF OTHER REQUIRMENTS.
On any Free Dress Days or recreational outings students are also expected to dress along given guidelines. Revealing clothes (shorts, capris, stretch leggings), clothes with socially unacceptable symbols or designs, or any items deemed unsuitable based on teacher judgement are not allowed.
STUDENTS NOT WEARING THE SCHOOL UNIFORMS ON EXAMS WILL BE BARRED FROM THE EXAM
